Not too long ago Los Angeles resident Mountain Lion P-22 almost died of mange from eating rat poison.  Fortunately he has survived. But thousands of other mountain lions, hawks, owls, coyotes and bobcats living the Santa Monica Mountains haven't been so lucky.  The wildlife living in Los Angeles need your support.

Currently there are no facilities in the City of Los Angeles that treat and rehabilitate injured wildlife.  And while there are a few small dedicated organizations and individuals who care for specific species, they are generally overcrowded and underfunded. Our citywide lack of resources are the among the many reasons CLAW envisions the 
CLAW Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
